One of the biggest stand-up comedians in the world right now, Matt Rife, has added new dates to his Stay Golden World Tour, with two sets slated for New Zealand in January.

The 30-year-old boasts over 42.6 million followers and 3 billion views across his social media platforms, along with chart-topping Netflix specials like Natural Selection and Lucid. He is the youngest comedian to sell out New York's Madison Square Garden - twice.

Stay Golden comes on the back of Rife's ProbleMATTic World Tour - which sold over 600,000 tickets across 250-plus shows in less than 48 hours.

Rife will perform at Wolfbrook Arena, Christchurch on 16 January and Spark Arena the follow night, both with an 18+ age limit. He will then head to Australia.

He also has an R-rated comedy feature film in the pipeline. Rolling Loud, which co-stars Owen Wilson, is expected to be released in 2026.

Presale tickets open 1 October, with general release following on 3 October at 9am.
