Hugely successful British boyband Five are back together to tour the world, including one show in New Zealand.

The May 2026 set at The Trusts Arena will be the first time in 25 years that the original members - Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown - are back together on stage since they split up in 2001.

The group sold more than 20 million albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They had two number ones in NZ - 'Everybody Get Up' and 'If Ya Gettin' Down'.

"This has been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now," said Scott in a statement. "I know I speak for all the boys when I say we can't wait to do this all over again. Hope you're ready!"

"We really can't wait to get back on stage together & see the fans, it's gonna go off!" said Abz.

Various mashups of Five have performed in New Zealand, the last time was a one-off show in 2024 at the Powerstation.

The band formed in 1997 with five members who answered an ad for singers and dancers in a British arts newspaper.

Tickets go on sale Friday 29 August FRIDAY 11am from tegdainty.com.
