Snoop Dogg will play special one-off New Zealand show
The hip hop legend will play for over-18s in Auckland next month.
Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg will visit New Zealand next month for a one-off, double whammy show.
The gig, at Manukau's Due Drop Arena on 20 September, is pitched as Snoop Dogg vs DJ Snoopadelic.
The "two-in-one experience" will see the West Coast rapper perform his biggest hits, as well as a DJ set from DJ Snoopadelic – the rapper’s record-spinning alter-ego.
Opening for Snoop at the R18 event will be local hip hop legend Savage and up-and-coming Revus.
Snoop will be flying in off the back of his appearance at the 2025 AFL grand final on 27 September.
The 'Drop It Like It’s Hot' hitmaker was last in New Zealand for two shows in March 2023, one in Christchurch and another in Auckland.
He was welcomed to Aotearoa before the shows with a pōwhiri and met a group of Kiwi teenagers from the Kākano Youth Arts Collective who gifted handmade artworks to the musician.
Tickets go on sale 1 September.
