Outside the Lines looks at what goes on behind the scenes from some of our top Pasifika athletes and the people who surround them. From sportswomen who are mothers with full-time jobs, to young aspiring Pasifika athletes punching about their weight, and the behind-the-scenes realities of some of our most-celebrated sports heroes, we delve into the human facets of sport in Aotearoa where Pacific people over-represent.
The show aims to be a catalyst for wider community conversations in exploring the celebrations, the challenges, and the fascinating behind-the-scenes sports stories from our collective Pasifika experience.
From our parents to politicians, musicians, young students, and sideline punters, Outside the Lines speaks to our whole community about all the realities that sports serves up.
